One of Pantheism's main tenants is that all religions are equally valid, and that the earth and the universe are God.
This painting was mostly inspired by Deep Forest's song, 'Sweet Lullaby', inspiring a feeling of our global community. John Lennon's song - God was also an influence, where he sings that he doesn't believe in any of the various religion's leaders, just in himself.
Looking at life in globalistic terms, this painting represents the various peoples of the earth, viewed through a "religious" prism... Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Russian Orthodox, etc.. and my belief that all of those religions are equally as valid and authentic coming from the perspective their different and distinct cultures.
