Wars in general have always been interesting to me, and make for good subject matter for a painting. They (Wars) seem to be an inevitable result of normal aggressive human behavior en masse in that they have always been part of our history and always will be. I certainly don't mean to be critical of American involvement, it's a neutral position as a fascinated observer.
